COMPARISON · AI CRO
Yesward vs Pathmonk
Pathmonk positions itself as an AI-powered CRO platform: understand visitor intent from real-time behaviour, generate personalised micro-experiences, increase conversions. Commercially that is very close to what we sell against.
Both read live behaviour and act inside the session. The divergence is what the model is asked to produce: Pathmonk's micro-experiences aim to guide the visitor towards conversion; our engine aims to identify the one thing blocking them, and frequently concludes that the useful response is none. Different objective functions, similar-sounding demos.
AT A GLANCE
Two AI CRO products with different objectives.
| Pathmonk | Yesward | |
|---|---|---|
| Stated category | AI-powered CRO platform | AI decisioning for considered purchases |
| What the AI predicts | Visitor intent and buying stage | Which friction is blocking progress, and with what confidence |
| What it then does | Delivers micro-experiences to guide towards conversion | Selects one of seven levels, most often silence |
| Objective | More conversions | More incremental gross profit, which sometimes means fewer actions |
| Journey types | Broad, including lead generation and B2B sites | Narrow: €300–€3,000 considered purchases with comparison steps |
| Evidence model | Platform analytics and campaign reporting | Permanent holdout, per-decision receipt, 14-day auto-retire |
| Time to value | Fast: install and start guiding | Deliberately slower: two weeks silent before anything renders |
THE THREE REAL DIFFERENCES
Guiding a visitor and unblocking one are not the same job.
01
Intent vs blocker
“This visitor is in a decision stage” is a segment. “This visitor cannot tell the two options apart” is a task. Only the second one tells you what to write.
02
Guidance has a cost we account for
Micro-experiences are cheap to deliver and not free to receive. Our decision includes a trust-cost term, so a marginal nudge with a marginal gain loses to silence.
03
Profit, not conversions
On a considered purchase, steering people to the cheapest plan raises conversion rate and can reduce margin. We report the second number, including when it is negative.
Fair test: run either product with a permanent holdout on eligible sessions and report contribution margin. If more guidance wins on your traffic, that is a real finding and you should buy the tool built for it.
How we would set that test up →HOW WE WRITE THESE
Every comparison names where the other product wins.
Not generosity — self-interest. A pilot that starts from a misdiagnosed fit fails in week three, and we would rather lose the deal in week zero. Every page here therefore leads with the case for the alternative.
SOURCES & LIMITS
Comparisons are based on each vendor's own public product and positioning material, read in August 2026. Products change; where we have got something wrong, tell us and we will correct it and date the correction.
We do not publish competitor pricing, screenshots or benchmark claims we cannot substantiate. All Yesward figures on this site are illustrative deterministic data from the prototype, not customer results.

Or skip the comparison and run the test.
Two weeks in shadow mode on one journey, alongside whatever you already run. Nothing rendered, nothing to migrate.
